We booked two rooms: 1 french suite with spa - turns out the spa was outside the room (a hot tub), no privacy from other guests, as well it was not working The 2nd room - Garden view - no garden view, lots of concrete work going on for a new driveway area etc. The view was of dirt. The room kitchen facilities were good - ie the kitchen was great, however located a mouse pooh in one of the draws. Also outside this room there is a very foul odour such as sewerage? My parents did not use the front door to go out instead were lucky enough to have a frech door on the side.
One the 2nd night in the French suite we were visited by a mouse or two as our easter chocolates had been eaten through their wrapper. Cans of insect spray wold be handy as the mosquitos were very friendly. Rooms need to be cleaned thoroughly - as there is dust all over the light fittings, the skirtings etc. The outdoor area down the side of the house looks like it has just been left with no effort in looking after it.
Overall wont be recommending this venue to anyone. We were qute disap.
